Restoration carried out by the National Museum of Singapore and the World Cinema Foundation. In association with the Konfiden Foundation and Kineforum Jakarta Arts Council. The film was restored from the original print kept at the Indonesian Cinematheque. Special thanks to the family of Usmar Ismail.。歌唱家柳莺才华横溢，受到社会上层人士的青睐，许多人向她表达爱慕之情都惨遭拒绝，原来柳莺喜欢之人是穷音乐家任云。柳莺答应任云的邀请参加大众团体演奏会，她的老师鲁思曲极力反对柳莺和任云进行来往，柳莺丝毫不以为然，她主动资助任云组织音乐团体并化名杨芸芸演出。老师鲁思曲带柳莺回到乡下休假，任云为了组织元旦演出来到乡下邀请柳莺参加，不久，柳莺的演出被记者发现而大肆报道。。
