木偶戏，自古被称为傀儡戏。该片通过讲述学布袋木偶女孩考学的故事、木偶剧团团长为传统艺术的发展费尽心机的故事、雕刻木偶的师傅不同人生道路的故事、台湾霹雳布袋木偶掌门人创业的故事以及迷恋霹雳木偶角色扮演女孩的故事，来反映出在大时代变革之下，传统的木偶艺术如何适应时代的发展，同时，也讲述了海峡两岸木偶艺术的交流、传承和发展，每个故事都演绎着悲欢与离合，关乎着传承与梦想。。A rebellious two-spirit teenager runs away from home to find his birth mother and reclaim his Mi'kmaw heritage.。He works at the fairground as “Stump the Guesser”, who can guess anything for a fee. But suddenly his tricks stop working. And then he unwittingly falls in love with his sister whom he believed to be lost. He sets out to scientifically disprove the theory of heredity and marry his beloved as soon as possible. An absurdist firework of a silent film in black and white.。
