生活潦倒的穷鬼阿武（金城武）某次因为赌博被人殴打至重伤后，开始把生命看得一文不值，拿命赌命以八万元代价接了一宗杀人买卖。行动前因为获得八十万意外之财，阿武又爱惜起生命来，请了刚从监狱出来的女杀手卡雯（李若彤）代他完成任务。
