故事围绕旧金山最后一个，也是即将消失的黑人社区展开。一个黑人男子(吉米·凡尔斯饰)和他的朋友(乔纳森·梅杰斯饰)为找回属于家族的归属感，他们决定买下属于自己家族的房子。。Mr. North, a stranger to a small, but wealthy, Rhode Island town, quickly has rumors started about him that he has the power to heal people's ailments. The rumors are magnified by his tendency to collect negative charges and give shocks to anyone he touches. In his adventures he befriends an old man who is a shut-in and helps him rediscover the world.。
