故事讲述男主角大山武进入了原本是女校的大日学园，在这间女性的花园的学校里，等着大山武的是能干的青梅竹马兼学生会副会长的女主角天谷春恋、高傲的大小姐姫神木灵及非常可爱的未婚妻栉八稻穗。。本片延续《我们的故事》系列，第三部以1979年为开端，横跨十多年至1980年代末的流金岁月。讲述林家第二代和邻居们一同从甘榜搬入政府组屋后的故事，经历新加坡环境、政策和民生的大变迁。 在姐姐过世后，阿坤（李国煌饰）改过自新，成为一名德士司机，和年轻一代的侄子顺发因为代沟常常发生冲突。80年代新加坡正实施多项改革政策，阿坤常常对政府的诸多政策感到不满，像是华文学校被迫关闭、新加坡精英制度等，结果决定和政府“唱反调”，成立反对党。众人的故事会如何收场？。In the latter half of the 19th century, gold is discovered in the Black Hills, an area which has already been allocated to the Dakota Indians as a winter reservation in a treaty.
