一个检察官的女儿罹患重病，需要进行器官移植。为了能找到新鲜的器官替换，检察官前往墨西哥寻访。没想到却在那里发现有很多儿童被杀害，就为了拿他们身上的器官卖钱。检察官一方面想救孩子们，另一方面却又担心女儿的病情，自己陷入左右为难之中。。画商罗贝尔先生在住宅门口发现一份犹太人的报纸，从报社得知，这种报纸并不是免费赠送的，是通过邮局订阅的。从订阅者的名单上，他找到另一个和自己同名的人，他们的惟一区别是地址不同。为了找到这个人，他利用一切线索，但是在些线索又一一断掉，包括一位叫伊莎贝尔的女人。要证明自己，他必须找来父母、祖父母的出身证明，他的律师皮埃尔从中相助。有传闻说这个他找了半个巴黎的克兰先生在一起秘密携带炸药扎毁盖世太保机关的行动中失败身亡，但是不久后，就在他离开巴黎上火车时，伊莎贝尔就坐在他的身边，克兰先生恰恰就在送行者的人群中。他发现，这个克兰先生，将房子挂上“出租”的记号后，依然住在那里，他们通过电话定下了见面的时间，但是当他赶到那里的时候，皮埃尔已经预先向警察通报了消息。 阿兰德隆主演，获得77年第二届法国凯撒奖最佳电影、最佳导演 Parisian bourgeois art dealer Robert Klein (Delon) wakes up one morning in 1942 to find a Jewish newspaper delivered to his door, addressed to a Mr. Klein.
