When Dorottya becomes his carer they both hope their wish will be fulfilled.。9岁的Ted和爸爸在公路边经营着一间小旅馆，缺少同龄玩伴的他倍感寂寞，整日在附近游荡，心中计划着着离开这个小地方的计划……。青年二子（陈佩斯 饰）赋闲在家，父亲老奎（陈强 饰）怕二子浪费光阴，于是每日第一件事就是督促二子复习功课，准备高考。老奎怕儿子出外乱窜，荒废学业，经常把他锁在房内复习。虽然父亲一番心意，无奈二子无心学习，在屋内如坐针毡。街坊老友顺子（刘佩琦 饰）想找二子和自己一起做生意，二子虽然十分乐意，但是父命难为，只得作罢。这日，顺子西装革履的出现在了大家面前，并带回了一大批新潮的服装和新款的计算器。二子见状，偷偷和顺子做起了生意……。
