Alice is a young woman opposed to the construction of a power-plant, an idea of her own father who is a member of the parliament. But a weird Visitor from the Future takes her to 2555, a future destroyed by the explosion of that same power-plant. 艾薇塔从此正式登上了政治舞台。她当上了贝隆政治生涯的贤内助，并一直主张为穷人谋利益。政治的世界风云幻变，而艾薇塔也渐渐找到实现自己政治理想的路径，并为此努力一生，成为阿根廷民众心中的“第一夫人”。。
