本片改编自古龙原著小说《边城浪子》，为1977年十大卖座武侠片。故事讲述「天下第一快刀」傅红雪为报父仇，万里寻凶，期间七名凶手竟一一离奇暴毙。傅与好友叶开多番调查，发现七名凶手全部未死；他们合力在幕後操纵，让傅堕入圈套，始出面联手对付，傅之处境岌岌可危……。A reclusive scientist builds a robot that looks exactly like him to go on a long-term space mission. Since the scientist seems to lack all emotions, he is unable to program them into his automaton, and an eccentric woman is hired to "educate" the robot on human behavior. In the end, she falls in love... but is the robot or the Dr. Mr. Right?。
