知名摄影艺术家陈米在酒吧结识了少女罗琪，陈米因为对摄影艺术的执着，坚持要给罗琪拍照，过程中，二人不打不相识。后来，无意中陈米得知了罗琪的秘密，她患有罕见的病，再加上经纪人霍当午莫名的失踪，误惹怒集团大佬，一连环的追击，到最后，陈米愿意自我牺牲，救罗琪，而罗琪选择了原谅自己，放下过去，面对新的人生。。The story takes us back to 1889, in the wake of primary school teacher Louise Violet who is sent to a village in the French countryside to enforce Republic schooling (which is free, compulsory and secular).
